The TriStar Arms American Classic Commander is based on the iconic 1911 platform, trusted by shooters for its accuracy, ergonomics, and durability. This high-performance .45 ACP pistol with a 4.25″ barrel is perfect for self-defense and target shooting applications. It is equipped with a steel frame and steel slide, front and rear sights, hardwood grips, and an 8rd magazine. In addition, the beavertail grip safety helps prevent accidental discharges.
The primary safeties are located on the back of the grip and on the left side of the frame. When engaged, the thumb safety is intended to block the sear, the grip safety blocks the trigger. The thumb safety flips upward safely and downward.
